Back to Normal Life
Today I went in to The Well a bit late, and everyone was disappointed that I did not yet have prints of their many pictures from Thursday. I told them I will bring them on this coming Thursday, so if I don't, I will be in hot water!:)
While at The Well today, I was invited to a wedding to be held there on Sunday. Staff from The Well have been working with this girl and her boyfriend for some time, and now they want to get married. I am excited to get to be there for the occasion.
After leaving Center 1, I went to Center 2, where they run a beauty salon, among other things. The last time I had my hair colored there, I was very impressed with the results. This time I asked the girl if she remembered the color from last time. I thought she remembered, but from the results this time, I'm not so sure she did. It is REALLY DARK. The first picture is me with my hair dresser. But when I got home and looked at myself in the mirror, I TRULY felt the difference, and that is the second picture. Ah well, it's only color; the gray will come through eventually with this color too.:)

So, as I scrambled to get home in time to teach an English class in my room, I met my two little friends on my soi who want me to teach them English. They always call out to me now when they see me. They are ages 8 and 11, I believe. Anyway, I chatted with them a bit, but before I was finished talking with them, another gal came riding bike and stopped to talk. I really don't know how she knows me, but she obviously did, because she knew my name.
As it turned out, I now have a new Tuesday evening student, to make a total of 3 when they all show up.:) I happened to have an extra book on hand, which she decided to buy, so I think she is serious about studying. I am happy to have Dtaa join the group; it is nice to have a more than just one or two, but not too many more.
I wonder what tomorrow holds???:)

I see irony in the hair color and the title of this blog post...

Sharon, I don't know if you remember me but I met you at conference before you left for Thailand. Anyways, I always read the RMM Thailand blogs and love hearing your updates. Also, I LOVE your hair!!! When I lived in Thailand I only had horrible haircut experiences, so I'm happy yours turned out great!

Go back and tell hairdresser you'd like several blondish highlights added. Or you could go with purple and maroon like one girl I saw recently!
